I'm not sure, but I think this animation film is not famous in the non-post USSR-countries. This is a screen adaptation of Ray Bradbury's post-apocalyptic novel "There will come soft rain". This film and literature origin are very interesting. Actually, post-apocalypse is one of my favorite genres in the literature and in the cinematography. I know a lot of books, movies, and video games in this genre.

 In this nine and a half minutes of this animation film, you can see the history of the future world after the great war. All people and almost all animals died, but robots and other automatical devices still work. The film occurs at the end of the 2026 year, on the 31st of December. The robot doing things that are in his program, but the family for which he serves is dead, they became ashes. The bird came to their house and the robot asked the password. When he didn't get the password, he trying to kill the bird.

 This screen adaptation has many details, that are different compared to literature origin, but the main idea and atmosphere of Bradbury's novel are here. If you like the original novel, or you like post-apocalypse, you should watch it. You can find it even on the Youtube.
